Your new job

In the role of Tractor Driver, you will work with the ongoing operation and maintenance of the municipality's streets, squares, and parks. You will be part of a team consisting of 12 colleagues. The work and assigned tasks are largely performed individually, while larger assignments are carried out in groups together with colleagues. In this role, you will have contact with your nearest manager, the team you belong to, and above all, residents/visitors in the municipality, where you are the face of the organization. You also have daily contact with the coordinator for the work team. In your work, you will follow a maintenance plan which is managed in a digital system via a smartphone.

You are needed year-round. In the spring, you will participate in our work sweeping gravel, and in the winter, we clear snow and sand to facilitate travel for our residents. This position therefore includes on-call duty and weekend cleaning.

The position is based at Verktygsvägen in the Ljungarum industrial area. If necessary, the workday may start at another depot within the municipality for a shorter or longer period.

• Weed control
• Manual maintenance
• Cleaning of surfaces
• Emptying of municipal trash bins
• Gravel sweeping
• Snow clearing

Your qualifications

You, as the applicant, naturally have a great interest in machinery and service-oriented work. The role of Tractor Driver requires that you can collaborate with others, as you will have contact with colleagues, your nearest manager, and residents in the municipality. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating, with a willingness to help others and find solutions.

You are self-reliant in your work by completing your assignments, structuring your work efficiently, and driving your work processes forward. As a person, you see opportunities rather than obstacles in change and adapt easily to changed circumstances. For you, it is natural to work with a focus on precision and quality.

Requirements

• Work experience with tractor operation/tractor loaders with various attachments
• Driver's License B (manual transmission)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious qualifications

• Education within vehicles
• Previous work experience from similar operations
• Driver's License C
• Previous experience working with digital work tools such as smartphones
• Experience with repairs and operation of other machinery
